Green Washing

Eco-friendly ?

A lightweight bottle

An empty wine bottle weighs on average 500g, we use the lightest bottle available to us, which is 410g.

That's 600 kg less glass to produce and transport per year.
(We produce approximately 6,000 bottles per year.)

Because yes, unfortunately marketing studies show that the heavier the bottle, the more the consumer tends to think the wine is better....

Reliable and natural corks

While a beautiful, single-piece cork is certainly attractive and vibrant, it's not at all reliable for the wine and its aging process. That's why we prefer to guarantee "perfect" aging for our customers, thanks to DIAM Origine's agglomerated corks.

We use the DIAM 5 Origine cork , made from cork and beeswax, 100% natural origin, 100% guaranteed without defects (no cork taint, no premature oxidation), guaranteeing optimal aging of our wines.

Vegan wines

When we talk about "vegan" wines, we are talking about wines without animal inputs .

We do not use any animal-based additives in our wines (no egg, pork gelatin, beef or fish), which are very often used in the industry.

When fining a wine is necessary, we use products made from potatoes, peas or bentonite (clay).

Of course, we unfortunately and accidentally sometimes crush frogs, snakes, insects of all kinds and other beauties of this world when we are in the vineyards on a tractor or quad bike, but they do not end up in our bottles!

Rainwater reuse

We installed an underground rainwater harvesting tank in 2021.

We use its waters for our plant protection treatments (spraying of Bordeaux mixture and other remedies) and for watering our newly planted trees and hedges.

Solar electricity

We installed solar panels on our wine cellars in 2025 to optimize our energy needs.

The installation will be complemented in the future by storage batteries in order to amplify the use of the panels.

Regenerative agriculture

On our 20 hectares of land, we have: 9 hectares of vines, 3 hectares of fallow land and 8 hectares of hedgerows, orchards and pastures that we have planted since 2021. No soil work, no synthetic additions, only inter-row sowing.

Organic farming (conversion in 2021, certified in 2024)

Our 2021, 2022, and 2023 vintages are in organic conversion.
All our wines from 2024 onwards are certified organic.
